Steel Cantar


Several years ago I found myself in need of back yard storage and, being a longshoreman, I installed a pair of 20 foot marine cargo containers, "cans", as we call them on the docks. Just in case my neighbors did not see the beauty of these things, I obtained building permits for them. So when a city clerk called to say that somebody was complaining, I suggested they talk to Jesus about it.
The other day, my son and his friends tied light rope diagonally across the side of a can and, using small furniture to prop the cords away from the steel wall, turned the container into a giant instrument. You can watch and listen to Martin playing it at
